WHAT: Sydney’s only film festival for seniors, with a mix of premieres, beloved classics, panel discussions and filmmaker Q&As programmed for the adventurous and eclectic tastes of our senior audience. Tickets are heavily discounted for seniors.
The Young At Heart Short Film Awards recognise Australia’s best short films starring seniors, with cash-prizes for the Best Senior Talent, judged by an industry jury, and the Audience Award for Best Film.

WHY: Young At Heart is an inclusive, accessible event where film lovers aged 60+ can watch and discuss quality films, with programming, scheduling and pricing designed in consultation with seniors. Our regional screenings give audiences the opportunity to see films which would not otherwise have a local cinema release - for many regional areas, Young At Heart has been their first ever film festival!
WHO: Young At Heart reaches up to 3000 NSW film lovers each year, with 97% aged over 60 years. Young At Heart attendees are culturally engaged and active in community events, tech-savvy
(77% use email) and are passionate and adventurous fans of cinema.
